In 2027, this Puerto Rican landmark will celebrate its 100-year anniversary. Casa Amadeo is the oldest music store in NYC and is even on the National Register of Historic Places for its contributions to Latin American music in America. Owner Miguel Amadeo’s destination storefront is full of relics, and while it's very much a place to buy and learn about 20th century Latin music, it’s also something of a museum for an important era in the history of the New York City Puerto Rican community.
