There’s no better source in New York City for vintage eyewear than Fabulous Fanny’s. This tiny, beloved 9th Street storefront offers an impossible quantity of options, with drawers and cases organized with styles from just about every era. Most of the staff have an encyclopedic knowledge of what’s in stock, so don’t be afraid to ask for something specific. One of my most prized possessions, a pair of ‘90s gold-framed, pink-lens Dior sunglasses, was found here.
