Owner Jen Ro knows retail, and she certainly knows the East Village. After all, her family’s business, East Village Postal, has been a neighborhood staple for most of her life. Her own shop, just around the corner, specializes in kitchen and dining things. Laid out like a well-dressed table, the displays showcase one-of-a-kind ceramics, stacks of gingham linens, speckled enamelware, Korean melamine plates and beautiful kitchen tools. You’ll also find trendy pantry items and ever-popular Sabre flatware here, but Jen’s style is refreshingly not-too-precious — decidedly timeless, yet effortlessly cool.
