Before there was the term “cottagecore” there was Salter House. In six short years, Sandeep and Carson Salter have firmly established their twin outposts as the finest shops for heirloom quality, old-fashioned goods that are inspired by the past, but are firmly planted in the present. There are no gimmicks here, just really lovely cotton nightgowns made in the Garment District, hand-painted plates that will still look gorgeous when you inevitably chip them, Appalachian-style brooms and really cool garden clogs.
