The New York outpost of this family-owned Italian glove brand is a shopping experience right out of a black-and-white movie. Visit this tiny Madison Ave shop and be prepared to tell an expert clerk what you’re looking for — most of the stock is hidden away, with samples of each style modeled on hand molds. Try your luck, though, because Sermoneta sells just about every style of leather glove, in every size and color, from suede driving gloves to sumptuous, long opera gloves. While not inexpensive, the gloves sold here are a great value considering the quality.
