At first glance, this wide, colorful and organized storefront just seems like a pleasant place to shop for your typical new age fare — crystals, incense, tarot cards, books. Walk to the back of the shop, though, and you’ll find racks upon racks containing a rainbow of tie-dye. Owner Thom Acuri is a master of the art, and dyes everything from baby socks to sports bras. Whether you’re dressing for a concert, or just really love tie-dye, Starhawk Designs is an unbelievable resource to get kitted out in something colorful. Thom also takes commissions for custom work! Bring him an existing garment, or collaborate with him on an intricate design.
