Strand Books

Strand Book Store is without question the largest and most well-known independent bookstore in the city, but have you seen the rare book room upstairs? It’s the space where most events and talks take place, but it’s also open for shopping on the weekend. This cross-genre collection includes 200 year-old tomes, as well as more contemporary first editions, and is a must-visit for collectors, curious book shoppers and those looking for the perfect gift.
