This lower level storefront, with its carved wood sign and meticulous gold painted front window is the workshop of an expert horologist. Sebastian Laws’s clock shop is a decades old family business, and one of the last of its kind in New York City. Currently, the shop deals mostly in by-appointment repairs, but the walls are lined with clocks for sale, and many of them are over 100 years old.
