FABSCRAP

The folks at FABSCRAP are on a serious mission to save textile waste from landfills, and they do a damn good job of it. Visit their online shop or Brooklyn Army Terminal location and you’re bound to be surprised by what you find, because it’s ever-evolving. One day, there might be enormous bolts of fabric from a designer’s studio, and the next there might be stacks of colored leather hides. One thing that always seems to be plentiful is weaving yarn, so if that’s your textile art of choice, FABSCRAP is a must-visit! For the savvy creative, it’s a whole lot of fun to dig around for something inexpensive and inspiring.
