For over 100 years, Frank’s Sports Shop has been supplying the Bronx with quality workwear, utilitarian shoes and gear for the popular sports: baseball, soccer, basketball and football, primarily. Paintball gear, life jackets and survival gear also appeal to outdoors enthusiasts. My favorite part: the window displays are stacked high with methodically placed inventory in a way reminiscent of mid-century variety stores — a feast for the eyes of passersby.
